Peterson Lake Road Dispersed — Roosevelt NF

Fire-scarred timber in Roosevelt National Forest near the Colorado Front Range high country frames these designated dispersed sites along FR 159.C just off Peterson Lake Road, with Peterson Lake a short walk to the east. The access track is well-maintained but tight — trailers are not practical given the limited turnaround, and at least one site entrance requires some clearance work for low-slung vehicles. No cell service reaches the area, and the lake water carries a brown tint from surrounding burn damage.
