The reservoir is currently closed but you can park around one side and walk to sites. This place is absolutely beautiful, secluded, and even has bathrooms with basic composting toilets, which is a great unexpected bonus for a dispersed site.

Hunting is permitted in this area so obviously be cautious and wear bright colors. We saw a lot of deer. Also saw a rattle snake, so watch where you step.

The reservoir is currently dry and filled with wildflowers, very beautiful.
