Located adjacent to the Huntington Beach Pier (between 1st and 7th Streets). These two lots use a Pay and Display System. Parking may be restricted in these lots due to events and valet operations during the year. Always read and follow directions on signs posted. Camping season is October 1 through May 31. Reservations may be made online until the day before the reservation date. Camping reservations will be accepted in person for less than 24 hours before desired date at the camping gate. The Best Camping Near Huntington Beach, California

We loved that it was right on the beach, but there is quite a bit of traffic noise from PCH and quite a few homeless people wandering around (one in particular was making noise throughout the night!) There are lots of great restaurants within walking distance.

This was our first time using our airstream and decided to go somewhere relative close to home. We were told about sunset vista. Made reservations and here we are. It was great. We had beach front views, everything was clean and other rv’ers were friendly. I would definitely come back.

Yes, it's a parking lot, but you won't get any closer to the beach than this! Our kids had a blast staying here since it's right on the boardwalk and super close to the HB pier. At night, you can build a bonfire, which is really fun and one of the few spots in Orange County that you can do this.  

  

FYI - The campground is only open October through May since this lot is traditionally used for summer beach parking. 

  

One star is missing since this place can get pretty rowdy at night, depending on who your neighbors are.

Good place to stay at when visiting LA. Car rentals nearby so visiting LA by car to hollywood and beverlyhills.
All is very clean and great we could wash our clothing there.
