Situated in the Mariposa foothills of California's Sierra Nevada gateway, Meadow View Haven Tent Spot is a drive-in established campground running $40–$50 per night. Access comes with a roughness warning, so lower-clearance vehicles should plan accordingly. The site includes electric hookups, WiFi, cell service, picnic tables, and a camp store. Campers exploring campgrounds around Mariposa will find this one on the higher-amenity end for the area. Reservations are available, which is worth using given the hookup availability. Book ahead and confirm road conditions before arrival.
Description
Our tent site is located in the side yard of our home, offering a simple and peaceful place to set up camp. The space is shared with our three cats, two dogs, and a small flock of chickens, giving it a relaxed, homey feel.
There are standard electrical outlets that can be used if desired.
We’re in a quiet, safe neighborhood just 3 minutes from a local gas station for any quick needs, about 15 minutes from the town of Mariposa, California, and roughly 1 hour (about 25 miles) from Yosemite National Park.
It’s a great option for campers who want a convenient, low-key home base without the crowds.
