New Hogan Lake hosts Coyote Point, a US Army Corps of Engineers campground that accommodates RVs up to 20 feet on open terrain near the water. The rough access road requires careful navigation, particularly for larger rigs approaching the maximum length limit. Campers can fish directly from the lake while pets explore the creek-adjacent sites that feature picnic tables and fire rings. Reservations help secure spots during peak fishing seasons when the $130 fee reflects the waterfront location and federal management.
