    Loud freeway noise.

I think at one time, this was an awesome site until the freeway. VERY noisy. I would have given two stars, however, the hosts are wonderful and they have an ICE CREAM PARLOR next to the office. The space itself is level and has a concrete pad for the picnic table. Space Y-9 which is a PT.

    Indian Lakes Resort

Great campground right on the lake

The folks that run this place were incredibly welcoming and awesome. We stayed here in the middle of April so it was still a little too cold to swim. The bathrooms/showers were clean and decent. We had a nice primitive spot we were able to drive up to. They also have spots that you can park at and walk to. Electric spots as well. There’s fishing and a boat ramp as well. The lake cabin was awesome! It was recently renovated. We will definitely stay here again any time we’re in the area.

Extremely nice staff. Super clean facilities. We arrived late, found our spot and went to bed. Didn’t get to enjoy the area.

    Good for one night

Just passing through. Met our needs for one night. Didn’t see the laundry facility so can’t speak to that. Play ground, pool, friendly office staff. Wifi seemed ok. Major traffic noise at night from the highway. About 14 minutes to downtown area. Park seemed a little rundown, sites close together. Worked for one night stay.

Only 1 Tent Site on the property !

It was great. I have the only tent site they offer. It’s away from the RV area. The couple that runs the KOA are super friendly. There is a pool but not open for some reason. Small dog park. Camp store. Clean. And an ice cream shop! The only drawback is it’s close to the freeway and you can hear a LOT of traffic.

    Little Rock North KOA

    It works for a pinch

Arrived in town looking for somewhere to tent camp, found here. It works for a night Pros: Clean bathrooms Friendly evening staff and wife is friendly Has a small store with basics Wifi Laundry area Cons: Quite noisy with city noise Camp store is expensive ( 2 Gatorade, a pack of. Hot dogs, buns and ketchup came up to 13 dollars...and. Mustard was almost 6 dollars.... Tent area is more of a storage area We had it to ourselves, which was nice, but, felt as if we were the unwanted guest in the park. At $38 dollars a night, we felt it's not really worth what they ask.

    Little Rock North KOA

    Noisy and Work

Staff is friendly. Campground is next to the freeway. You get a lot of road noise. All of the cabins are over grown. Sites are easy access but tight, not much room between rigs if both rigs have slides. There is a lot of long term guess. Not what I would expect from any KOA. You may not feel safe at this park if you a traveling alone.

Guide to Scott

Cabin accommodations near Scott, Arkansas range from traditional park models to treehouse rentals. Cabin properties typically include access to nearby fishing lakes and waterfront recreation. Most facilities require reservations with strict cancellation policies, and availability is limited during summer months and holiday weekends.

What to do

Fishing access: Indian Lakes Resort provides waterfront cabin options with immediate lake access for anglers seeking bass and crappie. Visitors appreciate the well-maintained shoreline and accessible fishing spots. According to one camper, "Beautiful area with great fishing, swimming (water slides & diving boards in the middle of the lake) and fun for the whole family."

Water recreation: During warmer months, cabin guests at Indian Lakes Resort can enjoy water activities including swimming platforms with slides. "There is something for everyone here. It is hard to leave," notes a recent visitor who appreciated the water amenities.

Day trips to Little Rock: Cabin accommodations at Little Rock North KOA serve as convenient bases for exploring nearby urban attractions. "This place was great. Close to all things Little Rock without feeling like you're in the middle of the city," reports one camper who used their cabin as a home base for city exploration.

What campers like

Clean facilities: Cabin guests frequently note the condition of bathroom and shower facilities. "Super clean facilities," reports one KOA visitor, while others mention that even during busy periods, the restroom areas remain well-maintained.

Friendly management: Sunset Farm Treehouses and other cabin properties receive consistent praise for staff interactions. At Indian Lakes, one guest reported, "Tommy (Site Manager/Owner) checked in on us every so often and was more than hospitable. HIGHLY recommended!"

Privacy options: Cabin locations vary significantly between properties, with some offering secluded settings. "Traveled down about 1.4K miles to take in the surrounding areas in AR since my family is looking for our forever home and spent four days here... We must say that, with the excellent views and service provided there at Indian Lakes, we would love to come back again!" writes one visitor who appreciated the peaceful setting.

What you should know

Primitive vs. modern options: Cabin amenities vary significantly between properties. Some provide only basic sleeping quarters while others include kitchen facilities. "The lake cabin was awesome! It was recently renovated," reports one visitor to Adam's Lake Boat Ramp and Camp, though they caution access requires navigating "dirt roads" that can be challenging.

Utility hookups: Verify what connections are available before booking. Some cabins advertise full services but deliver less. One camper at Indian Lakes warns, "They advertise rv hook ups but they have no water or sewer electric only."

Seasonal considerations: Swimming amenities close during cooler months. "We stayed here in the middle of April so it was still a little too cold to swim," notes one guest, suggesting cabin visitors planning water recreation should book between May and September.

Tips for camping with families

Book early for summer: Family-friendly cabin properties fill quickly during school breaks. Reservations should be made 3-6 months in advance for peak season stays.

Pack entertainment: While swimming and fishing opportunities exist, not all cabin areas provide structured activities for children. "We arrived late, found our spot and went to bed. Didn't get to enjoy the area," notes one traveler at Trails End RV Park, highlighting the importance of bringing games and activities.

Confirm pet policies: Cabins have varying rules regarding animals. Some permit pets with deposits while others like Sunset Farm Treehouses prohibit animals entirely. The Ponds does not allow pets at their cabin rentals.

Tips from RVers

Site leveling: Cabin renters with trailers should confirm pad conditions. "Sites are poor, at best. Concrete is broken and gravel is used to fix problem," warns one RVer about conditions that can affect cabin access.

Supply accessibility: Cabin guests should verify on-site market availability or proximity to stores. Many properties offer only basic supplies, and Hutch's RV Park maintains an on-site market with essentials, though selection may be limited.

Highway noise considerations: Several cabin locations sit near Interstate 40, creating potential noise issues. "The only downside was the traffic noise from the interstate, but that was to be expected," notes one KOA visitor who otherwise enjoyed their cabin stay.
