Lone Tree Dispersed Camping BLM
Reviewed Nov. 1, 2021

Nice

Pros- large places to stop, 4 bars AT&T and Verizon. Close to town. Cons - although there is a sign clearing stating 14 day stay limit, there are many who are using this as a permanent camp. There is a man who has a motorcycle trailer for hi bike and a cargo trailer he is living in, and has been here for more than 30 days, and at least 10 others around the perimeter who have set up for a long haul and have made this area their home base. One guy in a Minnie Winnie has a lot blocked off with rocks preventing areas from being used and has been here for at least 30 days. Also, on the weekends there is a lot of 4 wheeler an side by side traffic (which is livable as they are polite). People don’t seem to even think that the BLM office could shut this area down, especially as they leave trash and waste behind them.
