Creek access draws anglers and paddlers to Thoms Creek Crossing Campsite, a Forest Service site positioned along flowing water in southeast Alaska. The established campground sits within the Tongass National Forest system, providing a base for exploring the region's waterways and forest trails. Basic amenities support overnight stays, though campers should prepare for rustic conditions typical of remote Alaska locations.
The creek setting offers opportunities for fishing and water-based recreation, while the surrounding forest provides hiking access. For additional options in the region, campers can explore camping near Wrangell or consider nearby Forest Service sites like Turn Island Beach Campsite. This campground works well for self-sufficient campers seeking creek access and forest recreation.
