Hatcher Pass – Fishhook lot

Walk-in tent sites only at this state-managed lot at the base of Marmot Mountain in Hatcher Pass. No cell service. Sites require a short hike from the parking area, and higher elevation means temperatures drop noticeably, so warm layers are worth packing even in summer. Pets are welcome. At $5 per night, it works best for tent campers who want access to alpine terrain and don't mind going off-grid. Campers exploring places to camp near Palmer will find this one among the more physically engaging options in the corridor.
