Directions

To drive to J&J Smart Charter and Deep Creek View Campground from Anchorage, take the Seward Highway. At the junction of the Seward and Sterling Highways take a right towards Homer, Alaska, on the Sterling Highway. We are located in Ninilchik, which is halfway between Soldotna and Homer on Mile 136.2, Sterling Highway. Once in Ninilchik, take a right at our signs (“J&J Smart Charters and Campground”) onto Julia Steik Avenue (directly across from the State Fairgrounds). Take a right at the top of the hill on Shy Maiden Circle (16215 Shy Maiden Circle, Ninilchik–formerly Erickson Avenue). The campground is located on the left.

This camp ground feels and has sites that are to camp especially if you’re not from the area, like myself just passing through
