## Overview

 Foscue Creek Campground is nestled on the forested lake shore of Demopolis Lake, the largest lake on the Black Warrior-Tombigbee Waterway. Demopolis Lake offers 10,000 acres of water to explore. The region is excellent for hunting, and game is plentiful. Foscue Creek Campground offers a peaceful retreat for families, anglers, boaters and those who want to get away any time of year.
## Recreation

 Fishing and hunting are the most popular activities in the area. Whether fishing by boat or along the bank of the park, anglers can fish for bass, crappie, bream, catfish and other species. Day-use visitors and campers alike can enjoy a boat ramp and hiking trail at the campground. Foscue Creek Nature Trail takes walkers and joggers along the shoreline and provides benches for wildlife viewing and trail markers for tree identification.
## Natural Features

 The campground lies south of the confluence of the Black Warrior and Tombigbee Rivers. The Black Belt region of Alabama is a diverse area of dense conifer stands and rolling meadows that feature colorful wildflower displays. Wood ducks, bald eagles, blue birds and many other species of wildlife inhabit the lake area. Black Warrior-Tombigbee Waterway consists of six lakes with a total length of 457 miles and 39,800 surface acres of water.

Concrete pads long enough to back trailer and truck in and not be in the road. 
Downfall was you had to be in or out of the park by 10pm bc the gate closes. And you have to go get the park ranger to open it. Other than that it was an amazing place. And plan to bring my kids back 

Foscue creek

Foscue is about 10 minutes from our house and it’s a quick getaway spot for us. Very nice grounds and waterfront sites are an option. Close to town in case you need to pick up something and a lot of paved roads and paths to walk or hike. 

Quick getaway

We had an excellent experience at Foscue Creek. We were the only tent campers in the park, as it looked like most of the residents were longer-term RVers. Most of the sites are along the creek/river, and each has a table, fire pit, water, electric, and a hook for hanging things. The bathrooms were the cleanest bathrooms I've seen at a public campground. The river is lovely at sunset, and there are tons of birds and other wildlife within the park. Highly recommend this hidden gem.

This COE park is within a two hours drive of home for us. We visit several times every year. Not a bad site there. Quite and seems out in the country side, but actuall within 3 miles of Demopolis. FHU’s but kinda low water pressure (40 psi). There are 4 GREAT sites directly on the Warrior River, and MIGHT be available during the week. 

Our Go-to park 

We had a great time here! Our campsite was #12. It was on the point and didn’t have a lot of shade but we were right across from the bathhouse and playground so I really liked our location. The bathrooms were really nice and clean. 

Great campground on the river.  Sites have slot of room and are level. River sites are hard to get.  Very clean.
