    Welcome to Boulder Campground, nestled in the scenic St. Croix State Forest near Hinckley, MN. This spot is perfect if you're looking to escape the hustle and bustle and immerse yourself in nature. The campground operates from May to November, offering a serene retreat with a solid 4.7-star rating from visitors.

    Boulder Campground features around 22 sites, all first-come, first-served, so it's a good idea to arrive early, especially on weekends. The sites are pretty secluded, giving you that much-needed privacy. Each site comes with a fire ring and most have cooking grates, making it easy to whip up a meal over the campfire. There are two pit toilets that are well-stocked with toilet paper, and drinking water is available from a hand pump.

    One of the highlights here is the access to the St. Croix River. There's a pull-up area for launching boats or canoes, and the lake is clean and inviting. If you're into hiking or ATV riding, you're in luck. The area boasts miles of trails that wind through the forest, offering plenty of opportunities to explore.

    A river adventure awaits you at the St. Croix River Resort. The Resort is approximately 90 minutes northeast of the Twin Cities and about a mile from the St. Croix River. Covering nearly 34,000 acres the St. Croix State Park is home to over 200 miles of designated Scenic River. It is widely considered to be one of the finest canoe rivers in the United States. Home to 19 species of fish including Walleye, Smallmouth Bass, Sauger, Muskellunge, Northern Pike, and Lake Sturgeon that can grow to over 50 pounds.

    ATV and Snowmobile trails provide endless hours of enjoyment to visitors and the trailhead is just minutes away from the entrance to St. Croix River Resort. The area also provides great hunting opportunities for our members.

    We are also proud to offer 128 RV sites with some full hookups, tent camping, and cabins. We have something for everyone! Stop by the general store and pick up any last-minute items that you forgot, take a dip in our indoor pool, let the kids run around the playground and make new friends, or spend the day relaxing in one of our shaded sites and enjoying a good book or a nap.

    Pattison State Park features the highest waterfalls in Wisconsin and the fourth highest waterfall east of the Rocky Mountains. Big Manitou Falls is 165 feet high and Twin Little Manitou Falls is 31 feet high. This 1,400-acre park also has a lake with a beach, a nature center, camping and scenic hiking trails. Pattison State Park has 59 regular (family) campsites, 18 of them with electric hookups and three backpack sites. There is a sanitary dumping station but no sewer or water hookups. Showers and flush toilets are available during the summer. Pattison State Park is celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2020.
