Sebastian Inlet State Park Campground, near Vero Beach, FL, is a fantastic spot for those who love the water. This place has it all: ocean beaches, a river, and an inlet, giving you plenty of options for swimming, fishing, and just soaking in the views. The campground is divided into northern and southern sections, each offering easy access to different parts of the park.

The sites are generally quiet and clean, though privacy varies. Some spots have more vegetation for a bit of a buffer, while others are more open. Most sites don't have water views, but you're never far from the shore. The campgrounds are big-rig friendly and come with amenities like electric hookups, showers, and toilets. Pets are welcome, and you can even have a campfire.

One of the highlights is the swimming area behind the jetty on the north side. It's like a natural tide pool, perfect for kids to splash around without worrying about waves or currents. If you're into wildlife, you'll be thrilled. The area is teeming with birds, and you might even spot dolphins, manatees, and sea turtles.

Fishing is a big draw here, with plenty of spots to cast a line. There's also a fishing museum if you want to learn more about the local marine life. For those who prefer to stay on land, there are picnic tables and a market for any last-minute supplies.

Just a heads-up: the no-see-ums can be pretty relentless, so pack some bug spray. But overall, Sebastian Inlet State Park Campground offers a great mix of relaxation and outdoor activities.
