In addition to camping, fishing, picnic spots, and nature trails, the 305-acre park features a nine-hole golf course and a driving range. The park is named for Louis LeFleur, a French-Canadian explorer who established a trading post on the banks of the Pearl River in the late 1700s. The City of Jackson was originally known as "LeFleur's Bluff." Today Mississippi's vibrant capital city combines the warmth and charm of its rich cultural heritage with exciting activities and attractions and contemporary lifestyles. Visitors to Jackson discover a diversity of museums, unlimited shopping and dining, and a calendar of events packed with activities to suit every mood.

Welcome to the Grand Gulf Military Park! In May of 1962, the Grand Gulf Military Monument Park was officially opened, dedicated to preserving the memory of both the town and the battle in which occurred there. Located eight miles northwest of Port Gibson, Mississippi off Highway 61, this 450 acre landmark is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and includes Fort Cobun and Fort Wade, the Grand Gulf Cemetery, a museum, campgrounds, picnic areas, hiking trails, an observation tower, and several restored buildings dating back to Grand Gulf's heyday.
Camping is available at the Park's campground year round. There are 42 full hook-up concrete sites with water, sewer, and electric (30/50amp). Shower facilities are located close to both the upper and lower campgrounds. The laundry facility is located in the same building as the bathroom for the lower RVs.
