Convenient to the south entrance of Yellowstone, this camping area was very busy. We ended up driving many miles down the well maintained dirt road trying to find a spot. Ended up at a little trailhead outside the boundaries of the park. Road got pretty rough. Overall, it’s a pretty area by the river. By the time we found a place to stop, I did not have cell service with Verizon. Basically, tons of camping spots, but very few available. Get there early !
