The Best Camping Near Pinedale, Wyoming

Open grassy area in Aspen close to paved road. This is at the bottom of the primitive FS road #747 that goes up to Kelly Park meadow, however the road has had new water bars installed so only high clearance vehicles can go up to the higher elevation meadow.  The dispersed camping is at the lower end. No marked sites, water or trash and cell signal is dependent on your camp. Dirt two-tract road is ok for TTs and RVs. Pinedale is about 8 mi. 

Open dispersed close to fremont

Nice simple spot. I wouldn't really say it's an open grassy area but more of several dirt road offshoots where there are some level spots. The level spots are pretty spread apart so doesn't feel crowded. Made it okay in our SUV and 25' camper.
