Despite this park being super popular in the summer, this campground seems to stay quiet. The campsites are clean and shaded. Toilets and showers were pretty clean and centrally located. The beach was packed with families but they seemed to be having a great time. My husband and I rented kayaks—the employees were friendly and informative, we had a blast! We camped with our dog and we’re able to bring him kayaking with us, such a fun experience. The park is close to some “touristy” towns in Door County—this made for a fun day trip with lots of little shops. It’d be a great outdoorsy honeymoon location if that is your sort of thing!
