Located on Upper St. Croix Lake in the village of Solon Springs, this park offers visitors 29 total sites: 23 with electrical and water hook-ups and, 6 non-electric campsites, containing fire rings, picnic tables, and benches.  Lucius Woods amenities include showers, flush toilets, a sanitary dump station, opportunities for picnicking, swimming, hiking, the Music in the Park concert series, and excellent fishing opportunities.

The park has many hiking trails, a bateau shelter, children's playground, a beautiful swimming beach, a large log pavilion with a fieldstone fireplace, many picnic areas with grills, and an open-air performing arts amphitheater.  The amphitheater is home to Music in the Park, an annual outdoor concert series on the shore of Lake St. Croix.  The Giesen Concert Shell is the backdrop for the performances on Saturday evenings throughout the summer.

The Best Camping Near Solon Springs, Wisconsin

This this is an amazing Campground for the family it's a wonderful County Park with really cheap sites ranging from $15 for just water hookups to $18 for a site with electric and water they have bath houses by the campsites with flushing toilets and hot showers the Rangers are extremely friendly and always willing to deliver wood to your site further down the campground they have a community stage with local bands playing all throughout the summer some events free some a minor charge most of the time you can sit right at your site and listen to the band if you forgot some food take a nice hike through the woods to the grocery store along with easy access for the lake which is beautiful! For swimming watersports and fishing with an amazing Sandy Beach and an ice cream shop just across the highway in walking distance there's no better place to bring the family also pet friendly

Perfect Campground for the family

Fills up fast is well kept close to Duluth and numerous other places with exciting things to do hiking trails swimming canoeing is outside a quiet quaint town  the rangers are helpful and on duty 24 hrs a day  has spots for bigger campers

This place does indeed fill up. We were there midweek and not too many open spaces were there. The people were super friendly. Site 25 was the most private...the rest of the sites were very nice, but this one was the most private. The sites are small but they were pretty easy for us to get in and out of with our little trailer. Ideally for tents. It was a nice set up with trash cans at each site. 

  

There is a huge park along the water for kids to play and to have all kinds of activities. It had a very nice swimming area. There was also a huge amphitheater for events to be had there. Really its an awesome venue if they have concerts there. 

  

The campground is near a small little town with some good food!

Great County Park!

Love it clean and quiet affordable and has extra entertainment and events staff is extremely helpful and nice
