We camped here last weekend and it was a little slice of paradise. We had a waterfront site (most of the nonelectric sites are along the water) and it was perfect for kayaking. My only advice would be to get a site along the main river for fishing/swimming as we were on the inside and the water was very murky. If we go back we’re going to try to book site 42 (along with every one else as it seems that site is always in high demand) as it is a small site, but allows for fishing, swimming and kayaking all from the site itself. Not very shady and no trees at that one though and our site (49) had plenty.
