Elevations range from below 1,000 feet to over 9,000 feet. The Naches River, adjacent to Little Naches Campground, is a tributary of the Yakima River in central Washington. In its upper reaches, the Naches River flows through rugged terrain and areas of pristine wilderness. Before it joins the Yakima River, it makes its way through valleys and is a significant irrigation source for areas northwest of Yakima. Used by Native Americans and settlers throughout history, the river has served as an natural corridor between the east and west sides of the Cascades via Naches Pass.

 Boulder Cave National Recreation Trail is one of the most popular places in the Naches District. Visitors can walk the accessible trail along the river or explore Boulder Cave.  Cancellations Individual Campsites: Cancellations up to 2 days before a reservation start date incur a $10.00 cancellation fee. A visitor who cancels a reservation the day before or on the day of arrival will pay a $10.00 service fee AND forfeit the first night's use fee including tax and applicable add-on for a campsite. Cancellations for a one-night reservation will forfeit the entire amount paid and will not be subject to an additional service fee. No-Shows A no-show visitor is one who does not arrive at a campground and does not cancel the reservation by check-out time on the day after the scheduled arrival date. Staff will hold a campsite until check-out time on the day following the arrival date. No-shows are assessed $20.00 service fee and forfeit the first night's rate, taxes and applicable add-on for a campsite. Refunds Visitors may submit a refund request through their Recreation.gov profile within 7 days of the end date of their reservation. Refunds will not be issued after the 7 days has ended. Refunds for debit or credit card payments will be issued as a credit to the original bank or credit card used to pay. For check or cash purchases, Recreation.gov will mail a Treasury check for refunds of cash, check, or money order payments to the address associated with the reservation. Treasury check refunds may take up to 6-8 weeks to arrive. In the event of an emergency closure, the Recreation.gov team or facility manager will refund all fees and will attempt to notify you using the contact information within the Recreation.gov visitor profile.

I've camped naches numerous times. To say the least it's never a let down! Naches is very popular especially in the warmer months but there are still always open sites available! Highly recommend exploring little naches! If you like target shooting, wildlife and beautiful views.. this is the place!

LOVE!

A little close to the highway, but camp spots are set far enough apart to make it comfortable. Outhouse is a bit premative but clean. Wood is scarce.

Family friendly 

There are so many options for campsites here. The description says 15 but I would guess there are hundreds of sites throughout this entire area, you just have to know where to find them. Granted, not all of them are as close to the bathrooms as one may hope. 

Definitely bring some jugs of water with you. Most of the sites don't have quick access to water, however the Naches River makes for a good source. I believe recently they started charging per car for people staying at the sites, but it's worth it as they do have forest managers who devote their time to taking care of the area. Dirt bikers of the area tend to take over some sites, so if you are just going there to camp be prepared for the sound of dirt bikes throughout the day

A great area to spend a weekend

Beautiful area!! Great spot to camp, hike, or go rocking!! :-) Lots of dirt bike noise last time I went tho which wasn't amazing, but there are many options for camping sites so we just picked a different one.
