I never knew about Lake Roosevelt. This is a nice little spot in an otherwise sparse area of the country.

The “campground” is fine; there is one paved loop, some spots staked out on the grass, and RV overflow in the parking lot. Most of the people here during the day are just hanging out on the beach. I sort of feel like I’m paying $25/night for the privilege of boondocking in the lot (no hookups).

• Outdoor showers, more for a rinse after swimming,
• Changing areas,
• Good sized bathrooms,
• Utility sink is closed as of July 2022,
• Water spigots to fill jugs,
• No fire pits,
• Boat launch and swimming area are nearby.
