As others mentioned, it’s a great jumping off point for Hurricane Ridge and Olympic Park adventures. Unfortunately, during my stay the ridge was close due to wildfires but it was still very close to town and had pretty good reception. Sites are $24 unless you have a veteran or perm disability pass, sites are just a pad (no hookups or dump station, but there is several places to fill with potable water). The sites were pretty tight (I have an 18 ft tear drop with a truck) and not too level but there were plenty of bigger rigs that were just fine.
