The Best Camping Near Toutle, Washington

there are a lot of amenities in this resort which I'm sure can over ride the layout. The sites are so close together you can almost touch at RV next to you with your awning. The privacy in this resort is zero. It does have a very park like feel and like said with all the amenities there is lots to do for family fun but its just not my type of camping. It has the look and feel of trailer park.

The 4th of July was great. The park was full but the view of the lake was amazing.

Very friendly, helpful staff. Sites close together but level, area clean. Loved the sites backing up to the water.

We had a good site that backed up to water where we could do some fishing and had good space for the dogs. I’d recommend looking into which site you have as we have had a site during previous stay that was much less usable and compact/crowded.

Very nice place

I read some of the other reviews and didn’t have the same experience.  The spots I’ve stayed in are huge.  Room for a fifth wheel (awning and slide out), two vehicles and two large dogs without feeling packed in at all.  The sites almost all back up to the water and fishing is pretty easy here.  Mostly crappie and bass though I’ve seen a couple trout or perch pulled out.  Pads are crushed rock.  They are mostly level and maneuverability is good.  There is very little privacy for those who prefer it, but I’m usually camping with others so I go from site to site anyway.  Staff are very friendly and the park is pretty well maintained.  There’s a small store in the front office and propane fill in the park.  Not much to do close by.  There is a row of full-timers.  The facilities here are small but they are clean and newer looking.  All in all if your looking for a place that you can step out of your RV and toss a line in the water, this is a great place.  Will be coming back.
