We came to the island for just one night. Reservations are HIGHLY recommended prior to arriving on the island for any type of accommodation. We arrived at the resort at 11:30 am and was able to get a site for same day. Check-in isn’t til 1 pm so we explored the island. Since this is a resort, it’s a great place for families with kids. Our boys took advantage of the games- tether ball, chess, horse shoes, etc. If you want to make full use of the resort, plan to stay 2+ nights. Was great to sit by the pond sipping wine. Free hot showers and clean restrooms.
