Our third visit to Shenandoah River State Park for a weekend of camping did not disappoint in any way.  The sites are large, flat, and fairly private.  They are all equipped with a nice picnic table, excellent fire place, poles for tarp hanging, and water and electric hook ups.

The restrooms were well stocked and clean.  Hot water was abundant during most times of the day (not when lots of showers were being sought after!).  

The hiking, biking, and river access are tremendous!  The different levels range from easy to moderate.  Views of the river and surrounding areas are fantastic!
