With large, private sites this campground is perfect for camping!  We never heard from the neighbors and I don't believe our constant activity created a problem for them either.  The sites were made of crushed rock, very flat, and the RV sites included water, electricity, a picnic table, poles for hanging whatever you need hung, and an awesome fire ring!  

The bathrooms are up to date with free showers.  A sink for washing dishes is part of the bathroom complex, along with a laundry room.  The campground host sells campfire wood which proved to be well seasoned and provided us an excellent fire experience.

In the Shenandoah State Park there are hiking trails, biking trails, horse trails, and places to put in and take out of the Shenandoah River.  The river is shallow, but provides enough water for canoeing, kayaking, and tubing.  Wading is allowed but there is no formal swim area.  Our 3 & 6 year old grandchildren absolutely love the park and can't wait to return soon, even after we took them on a steep but interesting 3 mile hike (which included stops at a great viewing platform and an awesome Visitor's Center).
