Clean facilities, but no water or power. The camp hosts were friendly and helpful. Our site was right near the creek, well shaded, and reasonably separated from neighbors. There are hiking trails that lead to climbing walls; we watched one climber struggle for 20 minutes to get past an obstacle. The downside here is the road noise, which could be overwhelming sometimes when motorcyclists, ATVs, or overwound street racers sped by. Access to some amazing scenery in the Wasatch Mountains makes it worth a visit.

My family of five enjoyed this campground. We got a site with access to the river which my kids really enjoyed. There was a fun giant "sliding rock" in the area to climb on. Lots of trees for hammocks. Downside is it's right next to a busy highway and picnic areas. Although the campsite has quiet hours, the picnic area across the street stayed loud well past quiet hours. The road noise was a lot more than I expected.. especially at night. Definitely bring ear plugs or plan to stay only a nite or two. We planned on staying three nights, but were so exhausted by lack of sleep we left a day early.

Wish they had negative stars. Terrible camp hosts. Hosts are not what they are. Maybe they had a bad day, maybe they don’t know what they are doing. Whatever was the reasoning for their bad behavior is not acceptable. I’d steer clear of this one. You will not have a good experience. They will badger and control your every move. Belittle and berate. Not shoot straight and take advantage of you. Go somewhere else.

I got a site right by the creek. Set up my hammock and listen to the running water.

Only negative is the site is off the main canyon road and there is some traffic noise during the day.

The site we stayed at had many trees around to hang hammocks and also eat and picnic in the shade. There are brand new camp fires in all sites. This place is very clean in between people staying in a site. I also love the creek nearby. There are sites right next to the creek as well. Sliding rock area is great for kids of all ages to explore. I also enjoyed the trails into the trees near our site. The sites are close together and there was a raccoon that woke us up at 3:30am. We did get cold in the night and extra hot mid day. The lake yo the road is fun for swimming, paddle boarding and sand play. Dogs are allowed.

The lake is right up the road and a great place to swim and fish. There is a sliding rock for kids to climb and play on near the camp grounds. So many bike and walking trails. I love the creek that runs along the camp ground. We caught a lot of fish there. It is loud in the evenings with the highway that runs near the camp but the camp host are always friendly and a great place for kids so the noise didn’t bother me as much.

Stayed here 4/14, the main gate for the Alpine scenic loop is still closed. Little mill is the only campground open, we had a great time. Vault toilets but no toilet paper, so bring your own. A wonderful place to camp next to a river!

Me and my family live right outside the canyon where little mill is located! We absolutely love camping here! It is such a nice place to just go up for a weekend and just relax. About 10-15 minutes further up the canyon there is a reservoir where you can swim kayak/canoe fish and hike around. It is such a nice place to relax and enjoy nature!

Just returned from an overnight stay at Little Mill with amazing American Fork Creek right beside my sites The campground is clean, no water, trash or electric and vault toilets. The camp host were so friendly gave us suggestions on where to hike in the area. My only reason this campground didn’t get 5 stars is due to the horrible road noise. I seriously thought I was at a truck stop off the interstate. Honking and racing cars until 3am just ruined it. If noise doesn’t bother you head on over.

This campground is beautiful. It is small and next to a little river. Has lots of spots for rvs and ttent camping. Camp hosts are great.

We LOVED Little Mill! It’s the perfect campground. It has the smell of pine trees, a babbling brook, and it is just down the road from Timpanogos Cave National Monument. What more could a camper want?

We had a great tent site that was on the side near the mountain and across from us were campsites next to the road and the river. We did not hear any road noise at all, just the sound of wind in the trees and the water flowing. It was so peaceful!

This campground was recently renovated, making it one of the nicest in the area. It has an interesting layout, where it is long and narrow along the American Fork river and SR92. The flow of the campground makes it nice for larger setups (though not huge). This is the campground of choice if you plan to go to Timpanogos Cave, which you should check out if you are anywhere near by.

Little Mill campground is a quick trip up American Fork Canyon. Runs parallel to the popular alpine loop road and the creek. Close to TImpanogas Cave trailhead.

Great relaxing family time, fishing on river close, close to tribble fork and silver lakes

We arrived late but found maybe the last campsite available. Check in was easy, campsite was nice. The other campers weren't loud when trying to sleep. Plus it's open longer than any other campsites around so that makes it a real treat when it gets cold

This is a really easy-access campground so it’s great for little kids. beautiful canyon, lots of spots, and just a great time! If you’re looking to really rough it though, go further up the canyon

Little Mill is beautiful and so easy to access. I appreciate that it's first come first serve for last minute campers like me.
