One of best camp spots I’ve had. Pictures can’t do justice to how breathtaking the views are, and the campsites are amazingly close to the rim.

I’m typically a tent camper but read in other reviews that this is a windy spot. It is - and I hit it on an especially windy day. I car camped, which was still great and I was glad I’d planned for that option.

The camp host was friendly and the facilities were very clean. I saw the vault toilet area cleaned twice during my short overnight stay. Good fire rings, bbqs, tables and plenty of trash cans. I had cell service enough to check email load apps/webpages briefly. It wasn’t strong service but nice to have if needed.
