Awesome climbing/hiking
What a unique place this was.
We were able to find a climbing area and hiking all within a mile from each other.
The trailhead is one option to sleep, but we stayed just 0.3 miles prior at a turnout because it was a bit too sandy for our van to get through. (Photo of that small segment) sure, maybe a small patch, but we were just stuck in a similar spot the day prior.
It is $6 per vehicle for the hike and $6 per dog.
Still, we did end up doing the hike. It is a 21 mile segment that has awesome, narrow slot canyons. The canyons are a bit far, so we had to head back and get our pups some water. Apparently the wash has water through it most often, so bring water shoes for this one.
Photos are the climbing in Buckskin as well as some of the hike.
