I pulled in super late on a Monday night in September, just needed a place to open up my rooftop tent and get some sleep before I headed over to Zion in the morning. The campground was completely empty and is absolutely beautiful. There are signs that say you have to have a reservation, but I assume those really apply during busy season. There was no host here but the bathrooms were unlocked, clean, and convenient.
