Pyramid Ridge Campground

Great for a quick stop

Picked this spot off of The Dyrt after checking out some dispersed spots back near Leeds, and deciding we didn’t want to take our 23 Ft class c down them, with dark closing in.

Rolled in half an hour after sunset and more than half the sites were still available. Picked one we liked, and reserved it on recreation.gov so we wouldn’t have any worries.

Certainly not the most well-equipped campground, no water, no electric. Good size fire rings, and nice concrete picnic tables at each site.

You will hear the interstate traffic all night, but it is far enough off that it’s easy to tune out.

Overall, it made for exactly what we wanted, a spot to park for the night that was easy to get the rig to.

Of note - the road in, Shirts Canton Road, is starting to washboard pretty good.
