Just stayed at the Pine Valley Guard Station. (June, 2023) and it is in a great area, but the cabin itself is pretty disgusting and not maintained. We were told we would have hot water and there wasn't any even after calling around and being told it would be fixed, it was not. The floors were very dirty and the out house (which is used in the winter as there is no water then) was disgusting. You have to pack all your stuff in and that is a pain when you do not receive what you paid for.
They need to do a serious cleaning of the cabin interior before renting it out anymore.
