North Eden Campground near Laketown, UT, is situated in Bear Lake State Park, surrounded by flat terrain and open spaces. The area experiences temperatures ranging from 20°F in winter to 85°F in summer. Campers can explore Bear Lake's beaches and enjoy water activities, or visit the nearby Bear Lake National Wildlife Refuge.

Bear Lake State Park - Eastside areas are located on the east side of the lake and provide four primitive campgrounds at: South Eden (20); Cisco Beach (56); Rainbow Cove (13); and North Eden (10); along with boat launch ramps at First Point, Cisco Beach, and Rainbow Cove. In addition, South Eden has two group campsites. Activities include scuba diving, boating, and fishing. Drinking water is available at each campsite in the South Eden Campground. The South Eden campsites can be reserved. All other Eastside campsites are first-come, first-served.

The Best Camping Near Fish Haven, Idaho

I visited this campground for several hours while dropping my son off to camp and boat for the weekend with some friends.

The sites are very large and can accommodate more than one large camper, plus a few tents. The beach is a very short walk from the campsites. No sites are actually on the waterfront. There are fire rings with grills available and there are centrally located vault toilets. There are no trees or shade except close to the beach.

2017 was a very high water year and the beaches are under water. See the trees way out in the water in the photos. Fishing is great though!

Got a space here during one of the busier weekends of summer. Table with shade, fire pit, on Bear Lake. It's a 3 because we prefer more private campsites (this was not), but you cannot beat this kind of access to the lake.
