Beautiful and quiet campingspot
Great spot for a short visit. Easy accessable even with larger RVs. We had no problems with our 30ft RV. Perfect for a visit a day before or at the evening after visiting Zion NP.

Great spot 20 minutes outside south entrance outside of Zion. We were here Monday night and Tuesday. Arrived mid afternoon Monday and there was only 2 other people. It did fill up later in the evening but there was still several sites available and looked like maybe more down the road. Campsites are decent spaced out no one was too close.
The location and sites are great. Got here late at night and tons of open spots and in close proximity to Zion...
However.
The site we were at was a logistical nightmare setting up our tent due to the 40,000 ants that were making every moment living hell trying to set up our tent. Every time we stood still for more than 3 seconds (not an exaggeration) ants would start finding their way up our feet. Me and my girlfriend are master bug haters so maybe this won’t bother others, or maybe other sites aren’t as infested.
All in all, awesome spot! might recommend car camping if you stay in the site we were at if you value your sanity and don’t want your body rented out to be a home for ants and their 65,000 friends.
Nice spot close to the main road and a 20 min drive to Zion NP. You can get some refreshment under the trees and in the river.
This site has numerous spots, most are close together but the campground was not full at all allowing plenty of space and privacy. There are sites on both sides of the creek. The drive to Zion is around 20 minutes. It does get very hot and there is not a lot of tree cover but the stream is a great place to put some chairs and cool off. I will definitely be coming back here on my next Zion trip!
Like many other campers. Went to the right from the entrance all the way to end next to a private property. It’s really quiet and more secluded. You see other campers but you have privacy and your own place. A nice shaded with a lot of trees.
Really easy, good roads, quiet and by creek. Here on a Saturday night and there are a lot of folks here, tons of tents. Got here mid afternoon and found a flat site by creek. Feeling pretty lucky!
Great flat sandy sites. Easy to set up! Creek was dry but trees were lovely!
Nice spot about 20 minutes from Zion there are a few different entrances and places to park some are alittle rough for the bigger campers but we got out 33 footer in with alittle work
This has been a great spot with lots of places to camp. Along this road there are several dispersed camp sites but this ground has some trees with shade if you go further in. I stayed here for 3 nights and really enjoyed my time. Right next to Zion National Park.
Road in was just a little tough but short. Did fine with a 25ft travel trailer. Riverside spots are mostly for vans/tents. Wind and heat were rough for my stay but this was a better move than out in the open as there is some tree cover.
Rolled in around 8pm after hiking Angels Landing. It was about a 20 minute drive from the Zion Canyon Visitors Center. By the time we got here there were many campers (RVs, vans, tents) already set up but we didn’t have any issues finding a site along the creek. If you have a vehicle with high clearance, take the creek crossing and you will have many more options! You can definitely hear cars go by, but it’s not a high traffic road so it didn’t bother us. Privacy is minimal but overall the area is nice, clean, and very accessible to Zion. We have T- mobile and had 5G service. Would definitely return!
Great location with lots of space and premade firepits
Nice location right of the road, but tucked in under trees by a small river. Pretty views up the valley. Good level areas with fire pits. Those with 4x4s can chance a trip across the river for real solitude.
Had a peaceful nights sleep here.
Relatively easy access from N Kolob Terrace Road. Arrived around 6pm and there were numerous sites taken up by longer term residents and fellow campers.
Most of the sites have ample space and a stone fire pit. 2-4 bars of T-Mobile 5G.
Had a campsite up the road another 30 minutes but our 4 year old was ready to be out of the car... pulled off into these sites and set up with a good mountain view
Stayed about 200 yards from the road and got there easily in a Honda odyssey minivan. There’s probably ten or twenty nice campsites and some with large enough trees to hammock. No other amenities or water source when we visited
Perfect site for an overnight stay! There were a lot of other people, but didn’t matter since it wasn’t noisy or similar.
Feels safe to be a few more on a site instead of alone.
It was a nice stay but there was a lot of dog droppings which is always a turn off. Really not hard to clean up after your dog
Semi private spots. Enough trees to get some shade. Only complaints are that the dirt is very dry and gets caked on everything and during our stay it was 102 degrees!
It’s a fine spot especially if you want to stay for free while you see Zion!
There’s also some good views too!
This is a good enough kind of place. If you need somewhere to spend the night near Zion this gets the job done. The area is more or less a free-for-all with sites. People parked wherever there was space. Do not expect views or much privacy. You will hear your neighbors. All variety of vehicles can fit. We saw vans, small motorhomes, trailers, small SUVs, a Prius, you name it.

It was easy to find, camped next to Creek, not very busy, so it was pretty quiet
I've boondocked before without using an app. This is very nice. Happy that I used Dyrt
Excellent campground with a view of Zion.
Good clean spot to stay near Zion. Lots of spots which means you're somewhat close to other campers (less privacy than we would like), but you get some beautiful views of the canyon. Would do again if looking for a free place to stay near Zion!
It was a nice place to park, very buggy with a small creek nearby. There were nice spots but the majority were right next to your neighbors.
Stayed here on a Sunday and Monday night, there were hardly any other people and the sites are really private so couldn’t even see them. Tons of spots. We chose one close to the creek where we could easily walk down, the kids loved playing in it and finding tadpoles/crawfish/minnows. No cell signal most of the time but here and there would catch a bar (Verizon). It’s all red sand so prepare to be dirty, but the running water of the creek helped a lot. The flies were kinda bad in the morning, didn’t have issues with bugs at night and it got chilly, like 57° perfect for tent sleeping. Super close to Zion NP. High clearance helps but we were fine getting through with the minivan. I’d definitely stay here again.
Stayed next to the creek plenty of shade. Lots of little places to pull of, rather full but I was able to find a place as I arrived before dark. Would definitely stay again.
I don’t expect much from free sites. Half of this area has shade, and half is exposed. (You get what you get)
Fires are allowed, but it’s a windy area so be careful.
