We found the dispersed camping spot by fluke after reading reviews of the hamburger rock BLM camp just down the road. Wow. What a gem.

Plenty of pullouts / drive in spots of big RVs and a heap of camping spots. We shared the space with 20 climbers who were climbing the mesas during the day. We have a 28ft RV and easily found a camp spot at 3pm on a Saturday. Road is gravel but very manageable/smooth -ish for a large RV.

Pullouts start from 200m off thr main road and continue as you head north past the formal hamburger rock campground. Stunning views of the stars and sunrise photo ops!
