We chanced upon this location as we exited Capital Reef eastbound and were starting to look for a place to stop for the night.  This site sits up on a mesa above the main road and we only noticed it because a couple of RVs were parked on the rim - visible from the main road.

The views from this location are world class and show off the reason Capital Reef is one of the most beautiful national parks.

The night we stayed there were another half-a-dozen other RVs and tents, but all at an appropriate distance so that we all had ample privacy.

Was quite windy in the evening, but no wind in the morning.
