A NPS ranger recommended this spot after we found the campground at Natural Bridges NM was full. The abandoned runway, right next to Rt. 95, is paved so the biggest RV won’t have a problem. Planty of room and we found a pulled off spot with a view and privacy from trees on either side that fits our 18’ camper van. Very little traffic noise from the road. Just about a perfect spot for a quick overnighter for those that are self contained.
