I found this listing on thedyrt and decided to check it out. I thought that I knew about most of the campgrounds within two hours of my home, but I had not heard about this site. I drove there with anticipation.

Well, it appears that Pecan Park is no longer a campground and it is now a business park. There is still a private house and some private land where cows are grazing, however at the main site there is now a large office building. My guess is that the owners had to make a decision when the city grew around them and they were made an offer that they couldn't refuse, so they sold a portion of the land.

There were some huge pecan trees, open land, sun shades and picnic benches. I suppose that if you were in a car or campervan you might be able to stealth camp for one or two night in one of the corners of the parking lot. But pretty much this site is now a business park with a large office building.
