Being a San Antonio native, it was nice to visit a State Park in my old backyard! Nightly Dances are great for all ages! Especially loved hearing the Camp’s theme song! Asked a female ranger for suggestions where to put down my yoga mat. She let me know a sweet place by the River between the parking lots up where the dance was the night before. We had a mid morning hike up Old Baldy that was fairly rigorous at times. (Check the weather before making the climb; rocks are slippery when wet!) Spectacular views! Cooled off afterward with a quick dip in the Frio River! It certainly lived up to its name! Definitely will be back!
