Nueces River RV and Cabin Resort is located near Camp Wood, Texas, and features terrain with flat areas and river access. The region experiences temperatures ranging from the 40s in winter to the 90s in summer. Nearby attractions include the Nueces River for water activities and Garner State Park for hiking and picnicking.

Big Oak River Camp features beautiful log cabins, with the signature red roofs, offer all the comforts of home. Each cabin is outfitted with full kitchen and bath facilities. The kitchens are fully stocked with all pots/pans, dishes and cooking/eating utensils. We furnish a microwave, coffee pot and Direct TV. The cabin is furnished with a Queen Size bed, a full size futon and a small dining table. We do not furnish linens so make sure you bring your own sheets, pillow cases and towels. A BBQ Pit, fire ring, picnic table and porch swing are just added amenities for your enjoyment. The Best Camping Near Concan, Texas

Nice campground tent spaces, rv spots, and cabins for rent. Access to the river. Clean restrooms and showers. Rules are enforced.Also have pool area splash area for kids pretty nice for a get away.

Nice camp ground 

A very nice &amp; well kept camp ground. This place has wonderful amenities for campers of all types. They have tent sites close to the water with electric, water, picnic tables and grills at what looks like every tent site. There are multiple gate ways leading into the beautiful Nueces river bed where you can explore, fish and swim in the crystal clear cool water. The cabins are beautiful, clean and thoughtfully placed. There are well placed and easy to pull through RV sites that look like they'll fit even the biggest rigs.They also have a driving range for golfers, a very nice pool area with splash pad, separate mens and womens bath houses/bathrooms, pavilions and even a laundry mat!  There are also multiple play areas, volley ball court, basketball courts, and thoughtfully placed hanging porch swing type swings to sit and enjoy the views in. All very clean and well kept. I thoroughly enjoyed my tent stay and plan on coming back on a regular basis. Love this place.

Quite, clean & well layed out

Now Called Nueces River RV &amp; Cabin resort. We were here Easter Weekend 2021. Lots of families here for the holiday. We have an 18 foot travel trailer so they put us down near the river. There were mostly tents on that area but there were partial hook ups. Our spot was Beautiful with a perfect view of the hills and the river. 
2 basket courts, driving range, sand volleyball, see saws, swings....a slight walk down to a nice rocky river area. The Nueces is very clear. We brought paddle boards but it was quite a walk down to the river (if I was carrying a board). We could have probably driven down the road a bit to the dam and gotten in there but it was a little too cold on the weekend we were there. 
The main RV area was up near the front in a more typical “RV park” set up in rows. 
The bathhouse had about 6 individual bathrooms. It would probably be plenty big for a normal weekend but was very small and busy for a holiday weekend.
