Fooshee Pass Campground is located on Watts Bar Lake. It is a great place to camp, hang out, and enjoy the many recreational activities on the lake. Many campers enjoy taking their boat out and skiing, fishing, or just enjoying the lake and the mountains. Many also enjoy canoeing, kayaking, and relaxing in the beach area. Fooshee Pass Campground has 55 sites (52 RV sites, 3 tent sites), all sites with water and electricity. Each site also has a picnic table, a barbecue grill, and a fire ring. There is a boat ramp, playground area, roped-off swimming area, bathhouse/restrooms, hot showers, and a dump station. We also have a picnic pavilion, picnic tables, grill, fire pits, and handicap facilities. There is also a large day-use area for a small fee for use of the boat ramp and swimming area.

Stayed for the 2019 seasonal and loved it. Good friendly people bath houses need updating still pretty clean. Good swimming, boating or fishing right from your lake side site. Will definitely be back

Great place very kid and pet friendly

My husband and I really enjoyed this CG on the lake and was fortunate to stay in the front, quiet and uncrowded section of the park where sites are long, widely spaced, grassy and shaded. If you prefer to camp alongside others then choose a site in the back circle of the park. Otherwise, lakeside sites 4, 5, 6, 8 and 9 are great choices for gravel back-in sites just steps from the water and public bathroom. The boat launch on the other side of the campground was free and convenient to use and offered the best cell service for our T-mobile plan. The park is well managed and maintained thanks to the 4 great and friendly camp hosts and park manager, Royce. They intend to expand the CG soon, until then we highly recommend a visit if you're looking for a peaceful and quiet getaway at Watts Bar Lake. Bonus tip: reserve your slow cooked Prime Rib dinner ahead of time for a Fri or Sat outing at Uncle Gus' Mountain Pit BBQ less than 10 minutes away!

A Hidden Gem

The camping experience was great.  The staff was very helpful and was a peaceful experience. The restroom and bath house was well maintained  You are camping right on the lake so no reason to look for a fishing spot. I recommend staying for a great experience. 


Fooshie Pass stay

Gorgeous waterfront spaces from the entrance of the camp ground to the back. 

30 amp hook electrical hookups so if you're tent camper and only have standard grounded 110v plugs, you'll need to bring a 30amp to 15amp pigtail. 

The water spigot is a little low to the ground, so you might want a hose as well.

The showers have hot water and bathrooms are clean.

Not a lot of wood laying around but campground office has wood.

The campground managers are extremely friendly!

The views are absolutely stunning, even though the campsites are a little close together. 

Definitely will return!

Beautiful Waterfront 

Just spent 5 days at Fooshee, for the most part it was good. The staff is friendly, the place is clean, had a waterfront spot that we did enjoy. That said, i don't think we'd stay here again. The biggest reason, the very poor design of the water spigot and electric receptacle. The water spigot is in the ground right next to the mud, very hard to get to. Also, watch where you stand turning the water off as they have a frost free adapter on them that spews water at you when you turn it off. The electrical, there is NO way to shut it off. The receptacle is about 12" off of the ground which means when you connect your surge protector, your connections are laying on the ground. When it rains, it rains and splatters directly onto your plug/connections. The pump out, is slanted away from the sewer connection so your tanks drain slowly and you can't get all of the waste/water out of them. The bathroom stalls are only about 4' high, so while your tanking a dump, anyone can walk in and look you right in the eye. They have a sign telling you to stop and check in, but apparently that means stop dead in your tracks and park in the road as there is no turn around if you pull into the office area. All in all, we had a pleasant time and enjoyed our spot. If it wasn't for the very poor design of the campground we would have had a better time.

Love this place. Took the family and dog. Beautiful and amazing camp site. 

Camping 

Ample space, gorgeous views of the lake, and super friendly staff. We stayed in space 19. It is sized for a smaller rig which was perfect for us. We got to watch fish jump and a crane fishing in the morning. Only caught small fish, but the kids had a blast swimming. The lake is shallow with a slow grade which was perfect for our young children. Everyone was friendly and respectful. The bathrooms were clean and it was a nice bonus to have a no-charge shower available for tent camping.
