Wonderful location, Very well maintained, lots to do

We stayed at site 97. We we're close to neighbors on either side but it wasn't noticeable. Not too much traffic of people going in and out. The river ran close enough to our site that we didn't feel like we needed a premium spot. Plenty of spots for swimming or tubing if you drop in upstream. This site was okay for backing in, it was at a 90 degree angle with the path. It is all gravel so just keep that in mind. There was a slight 1-2 degree slope to the right. Very close to the bathrooms and trash. Bathrooms were amazing. The site had okay Verizon cell service with 2 bars around 30-40mbps. The campground wifi worked okay, but it dropped signal quite frequently. I would recommend downloading offline maps, as there is little cell service between the Campground and downtown Gatlinburg. We loved how close the campground was to the national park and downtown, but still isolated to make you feel like you were in the mountains. Overall the campground had great amenities, really awesome service from the staff, and was a quiet mountain getaway.
