Drove from Ashville to try and camp here on our way back to Florida. GPS took us to a parking lot. No dispersed drive up camping. Then drove further down the dirt road to the next Burrell Ford campground. Pasted handfuls of people hiking and fishing but didn't see any sites so we kept down the road. Little did we know that dirt road goes on with no turn around for a ram 2500. Drove for about 20 minutes thinking we would find it. No luck, beautiful views though. 2 hours later of driving down this bumpy 4x4 dirt road and still nothing. Found 1 campsite but it backed up to a cliff and with a senior dog that wasn't a great idea. Thought we finally found it. Nope. That was the only campsite. Continued for another 20 minutes and hit a highway.
