Red Bridge is stunning and wonderfully maintained! Every time they drove by, site hosts would pull over and chat with you! I love watching movies and TV shows on my favorite app, Baixar Freecine Apk, and there were plenty of clean bathhouses with plenty of hot water.

$20/night basic site has a picnic table and fire ring. Each loop has. Pit potty on it. Shower facility in the park, very very hot water. Quiet, friendly people. Dog friendly. Bear area..,take note. Some sites have water access.
This is a beautiful campground. You have to go through the national park website to make reservations, so I feel like that's what keeps it quiet maybe. My wife and I stayed here for a long weekend and somehow ended up booking a full hookup site that was really great. The sites are very spacious and mostly divided with brush. The campground is rather hilly overall and I'm not sure it's best for kids unless they're really into fishing. But it is settled right on the Allegheny Reservoir, so if you bring you kayaks you can launch right from the campground. The restrooms with showers were beautiful and the whole place was well kept. The camp isn't far from many attractions in the area. Including the kinzu skywalk which is about a 30 minute drive. Overall a wonderful quiet place to camp.
Me and a few friends stayed here for a weekend to swim and chill out. Our site was super green and beautiful and a good distance from neighbors with woods on 3 sides. The closest bathroom didn’t have hot water but the next one up had hot water. We did get two ticks while we were there so make sure to watch out for that!
Need to bring my kayaks next time and gosh some more, but this is my fave campground. Super chill. My site was awesome and HUGE very private

Very nice campground with some huge old trees. Large sites, good privacy between, mostly full out partial shade. Trees for hammocks. Very quiet at night. No road noise. A few drive-in and walk-in sites have their own short paths to the reservoir. Can drive to a number of nice hiking and mountain biking trails. The reservoir is murky and had oil film from all the motor boats. Not good swimming.
This campground is operated by the state and they take excellent care of it. The sites are spacious with all different types of typography - large boulders, slopes, flats all with grass and dirt, handicap accessible picnic tables and fire rings. Few sites have full hook-up and those are closest to the paved roads. Several sites have electric but most are for boondocking. The sites closest to the GORGEOUS reservoir are all primitive. All sites are back-in. There are paths leading down to the reservoir throughout the campground. The pit toilets and shower houses are well-located and very clean. There is firewood available for purchase on-site. There is an easily accessible dump site right on the property. It was a quiet place with respectful campers. Kayaking down the river from Westline back to the campground was a blast! The water was higher because of all the rains this month so we got lucky and encountered some class III rapids. Usually a trip of this distance might have you doing some portage in that same river when the water is at normal levels. We ventured away from camp this time into the town of Westline and Kane and found some great little local restaurants and even a distillery that rolled out the welcome mat for us! No other frills are available at Redbridge campground, but if you just want to be in the woods and enjoy nature, this is the place to do just that. Bring your boats, bikes and hiking boots and have a ball surrounded by the natural beauty that is the Allegheny Reservoir area.
Nice location near the water. Campground has three sections to it. Once you come in the main enterance, off to your right are nice walk in tent sites. Off to the left are two loops for tent and RV camping. There are two bath houses, one near each loop. They each have three hot water showers, flush toilets and sinks. All sites have a fire ring. Some sites offer more shade than others. (We were at site #31 and it didn't have much shade.) Ice and firewood is avaliable. You are better off getting firewood down the road as you will get more wood for the money. Current price is $10 a bundle. Ice is only $2 a bag. Closest grocery store is in Kane. There are hiking trails nearby. The only thing that I didn't like was that it seemed that many of the sites were quite muddy because all of the grass was worn out. Not much grassy area for tents. Other than that it was great.
A favorite 2-night stay out of 20 stops on a 7-week road trip in our 17' travel trailer. Happy to have full hook-ups. Very clean pit toilet across the road and clean, well-equipped bathhouse nearby.
I love this place! Site 61, a walk-in site...complete sleeper along the water. Highly recommend!
If your looking for no frills camping in the forest, this is the place! Couple full hookup sites, some electric but most are rustic, great tent sites! No playgrounds etc, just camping in the woods!
This is my favorite campground so far in PA.
For the most part, there isn’t a bad site (although we didn’t see any of the walk up sites, and I recommend not booking a site immediately next to the bathrooms since the ones without showers are more like “outhouse” toilets and can stink). The sites are private, flat, surrounded by trees, and have plenty of space. The ground is quite rocky though, so bring plenty of heavy duty tent steaks.
Highlights include: the reservoir (beautiful and clean! You can swim with your dog from the access points at the campground), quiet, friendly staff (a kind older gentleman helped us jump my car and refused to take any money as a thank you), updated/very clean showers, not buggy, reception is great (we have Verizon), plenty of room to social distance, and 2 trading posts about 1 mile away with milk, eggs, basic supplies, etc.
Cons: the bathrooms without showers aren’t flush toilets, and there is no campground office so you must see the hosts for any issues.
Things to do nearby (last 5 pictures): the Kinzua Skywalk Bridge free- an old train bridge that was partially destroyed by a tornado in the early 2000’s. The bridge is handicap/stroller accessible, pets are allowed. There is a small indoor museum & gift shop, and a hiking trail along the wreckage. If you hike, wear good sneakers, the path is rocky and VERY steep. The hiking path is not recommended for small children). Bathrooms on site.
The Kinzua Dam free - beautiful. Handicap/stroller accessible, pets permitted. Bathrooms were closed due to social distancing.
Rimmrock overlook free- just a small distance from the parking lot. NOT stroller/handicap accessible, and there are rock steps, however we saw numerous families with small children go through the path with no issues. Pets permitted. Bathrooms on site.
Nearby towns of Kane and Ridgway looked cute, but we didn’t spend time there due to our efforts to social distance.
Very nice campground. We stayed just one night, but the site was truly amazing. The hosts are super nice and accommodating. Groceries only 15min drive away. Would definitely recommend.
We drove down from Western NY and were able to choose from 1 of 2 campsites. We lucked out and ended up with a beautiful site in view of the reservoir. Red Bridge was clean and quiet. The hosts were friendly and very informative.Â
Firewood and ice were sold in the campground.
We moved here after a night on the other side of the reservoir. This side doesn’t have the family hustle and bustle, but instead it has some more open spaces so stars can be seen easier and a little quieter clientele. We really enjoyed this side off the reservoir. Less public spaces in the shoreline but had some great sites. Site 6 and 7 were the best waterfront. Showers were clean and well kept. Camp hosts were the best we have come across! Go into Kane and discover the small town for a few hours.
After backpacking the rimrock/Morrison trails in one day, my friends and I all drove by Red bridge campground and thought it was perfect! We had a great spot right by the water. There are walk up spots and way more drive up to car camping spots. It was pretty busy, and the owners were constantly making their rounds before it started to get dark. The wild life was great, with barred owls, many ducks, and different fish species constantly popping up by the spot. Very peaceful at night and the showers and facilities are nice as well! Definitely recommend.
It sits at the bottom of the Kinzua Reservoir. There are non-electric waterfront sites with plenty of room. Full hookups are also available and just electric sites. Close to great trout fishing! Great restaurant just down the road with really awesome pizza! Ice cream for dessert. Also a little store about a mile away that has firewood and the camping necessities. They also sell bait. It is a fairly quiet campground and has beautiful scenery.
