Lots of nice sites with fire pits. There are pit toilets at the trailhead as well. Pretty good Verizon service at most spots. My only complaint is that when I was there it was super windy!
This is a really lovely spot! There’s 2 bars of Verizon service, a shower house with warm water and flush toilets, as well as pit toilets. There are a few hiking trails that leave from the campground as well. My only problem was that it was extremely busy when I visited and some of my neighbors were quite loud (although they quieted down by quiet hours).
The campgrounds on a skinnier part of the lake so you’re directly across from residential homes and right next to a road. The sites are very close together and there’s very few trees, so it’s not private at all. The bathrooms were extremely well maintained. The potable water was shut off while we were there.
We stayed here in March, so there weren’t leaves back on the trees yet which meant we could see the road (and the road could see us). Not a huge deal, just not very private. It was also extremely muddy. Not bad on the main track in and out but swampy everywhere else. Overall it’s a nice spot if you’re passing through but not groundbreaking
Beautiful wooded sites, a bit close together and not a ton of privacy but we weren’t bothered by our neighbors at all. The bathrooms are very clean and nice, they have a dish washing sink and good showers. Our site had an electric hook up.
The pit toilets were… pit toilets, but the site was beautiful and a short walk to the water. Not too crowded and quiet neighbors. Good Verizon service also
You just pull up and find a spot along the ridge. It was pretty crowded and due to the terrain you don’t really have any privacy but the views and stars make it totally worth it. There’s no facilities here, so prepare well, but definitely worth a stop!
The campsites are beautiful, even though there were a lot of people when we went we felt like we had a lot of privacy from our neighbors. We stayed in the ridge loop, so not waterfront but within the campground there were so many things to do (huge mountain biking scene). The whole grounds were very well maintained, and the bathrooms and showers were some of the nicest I’ve seen at a campground. Highly recommend!
This campground has a lot of potential. The sites are large and have beautiful views although they’re not very private. However, the site I was in (11) was covered with trash and cigarette butts. The bathrooms were a pretty good walk away and we’re your classic disgusting pit toilets. That being said, it was relatively quiet except for the occasional atv across the water, and the views are beautiful.
The spots are a good distance apart but there’s no trees or anything offering privacy. The bathrooms have jail like showers, but I didn’t use them so I’m not sure what they’re like. There are trash cans at each site, covered picnic tables and fire pits, and a spigot near the bathrooms. Much better suited for car/tent camping than for large rvs as the sites aren’t pull in. You just park in a wide spot on the road near your picnic table.
The views are amazing, the sites are large and well maintained. The most beautiful pitt toilet I’ve ever seen, even had a car air freshener in it. The people in the town are super friendly as well!
Me and a few friends stayed here for a weekend to swim and chill out. Our site was super green and beautiful and a good distance from neighbors with woods on 3 sides. The closest bathroom didn’t have hot water but the next one up had hot water. We did get two ticks while we were there so make sure to watch out for that!
Our site is beautiful and right on the water. Everything is very well maintained and the showers are nice!
We drove in pretty late and all the campsites with wind shelters were taken. During the day it is very windy here. The bathrooms were so gross we ended up leaving after one night.
Very pretty views of the valley from the campground, and having hiking trails start from the campground was really nice. Only complaints are very close neighbors and little shade.
This campground is absolutely stunning. The road to get to it is unpaved and bumpy, so I would recommend all wheel drive/ high clearance, but it is absolutely worth it. Very secluded campsites with stunning views. No water but pretty clean toilets. There is a little restaurant on the way in that is family run and definitely worth the stop. Very friendly and helpful staff and delicious food.
This campsite is beautiful, and fairly close to Moab and the Arches entrance. There are gorgeous views of the mountains and cliffs and the lake is nice to hike around. It was extremely windy which made sitting outside challenging at times, and when it wasn’t windy it was very buggy. Overall a wonderful campground.
Very gorgeous wooded and secluded campsites. The campground host was really nice and directed us to a different site than we reserved so we had a nicer site and a flatter place to park our bus. Bathrooms were really well maintained also. No service for Verizon.
The campsites are very nice, and the bathrooms are clean however they don’t have soap. The showers are also very nice but you have to drive to the registration office to use them.
