Lake access, kid friendly hiking, decent facilities
Camped with the kids once (6 and 4yo) and with another family and kids the second. Site 33 was recommended because of the shade, vicinity to bathrooms, and no grade, all of which are good for kids in tow. Kayaked the lake, rented a pontoon the second time around. Both were great. You can't swim in the lake due to vacillating levels, so that's one bummer. Hiking was good. Lots of trails, kid friendly too. Love the little general store and friendly people there. The facilities are otherwise fine—bathrooms are decent. Overall it's a great place to camp with the kids.
