A good experience with some caveats
The campground, as all PA State Parks, was well maintained. Here are the caveats however. The "pet loop" was clearly geared towards RVs etc. All of the sites are full electric and more than a few have very little space for a family size tent to be safely away from the fire ring. Ours had adequate distance but we got lucky tbh.
Also the sites are some distance from most of the hiking trails (Shades of Death being the exception.) Most State Parks in my experience have the camp sites with easy access to the hiking trails.
