Late-Night Final Option

Approximating an older KOA 100 feet off Interstate 5, Salem Campground and RVs could be a step up from sleeping in your car. This is an easy, friendly location and, if you grew up with some highway noise anyway, not a bad selection. The bonus of having a Home Depot and other stores a half block away means you get to buy the last pieces of your home renovation project on your way out. You can't help witnessing/meeting some colorful characters here. This is a more affordable spot - "$26.08 a night for a campsite for up to two people, and you must come in a vehicle," they told me over the phone. Salem Campground and RVs is down-home, especially if your home is on the road.
