Beautiful wooded
Peaceful and quiet place to spend the night. Not a lot of solar here. You're in the woods. Lots of big trees and soft pine needles on the ground.
The sites are kind of small, but worked for one night.

Had a good overnight stay in space 24. The stream is about 15 yards behind the campsite. The sound is very relaxing and mostly drowned out the hwy noise. Mosquitos were INSANE. Bring spray and any other anti-bug devices you may have.
This place is quiet. Clean and the hosts are amazing. Although a lot of the campsites need tree removal as if you have a group or large equipment, it problem won't fit. It does need improvements. But for the price and usually an open spot. It's worth it. Plus it's a short drive to Trillium lake. Great location too.
This “campground” to me was a disappointment. The campsites had a decent amount of space between each other-which is one of the only good things to say. The main reason why I stayed here was to visit Trillium Lake and Clear Lake-both of which are close by. The vault toilet was as close to an outhouse as I have ever had the displeasure of using. It smelled absolutely horrible…from 20 feet away, which was right next to my campsite unfortunately. The toilet was super low to the ground too. The campsite itself is not actually meant to be parked on by a vehicle of any kind. It had a post that tries to prevent you from parking on it. I was just able to fit my car through to find a level spot (since I sleep on a bed platform in my SUV). The campsite was super uneven (it is a forest after all). I still slept slanted, which given my pain issues isn’t ideal. I slept maybe 4 hours total. It was super quiet though (even though the neighboring campsite decided to ignore all the signs and posted warnings about the fire bans-which is selfish and reckless) and had a campfire anyway. To be honest I couldn’t wait to leave. The entrance to my campsite was basically a huge ditch I had to drive over and the bottom of my SUV still scraped the ground despite my decent clearance of my vehicle. I would not stay here again-especially given all the areas to disperse camp for for free just about a mile or two up the road from the campground. The road that the dispersed camping area is on that leads you out of the campground out is in absolutely horrible condition. The road has canyon sized potholes and you have to drive so slow you can almost walk faster. I was worried about my undercarriage and tires it was that bad of a road. Be careful driving here!
Still Creek is a very nice campground centrally located near Government Camp. It is in close proximity to Trillium Lake and Timberline Lodge. The sites are large and great for kids to spread out and run around. Really only 2 negatives to this campground to be aware of:
1)You can hear the highway, its not bad but definitely noticeable.
Big, wooded, private sites with good distance between you and the next site. The trees provide plenty of shade. Each site has a fire pit and picnic table. The water was cold and delicious. Vaulted toilets kept clean.
The one negative for me was the noise from the nearby highway. Throughout the night you could hear the semis driving by and occasionally they were a bit loud.
If you want a more private camping experience when visiting Trillium Lake and Mt Hood, then it's a great spot!
We were lucky and found a spot on Saturday, it's an okay camp, without anything special. Sites are spacious and neighbors are in a nice distance so you get a remote feeling, still we were missing normal toilets and showers.
Location is superb, close to a lot of hike trails/lakes/city probably the best in the area
Was originally going to camp at trillium but it was packed, so happy we ended up finding this Perfect little campground to escape the trillium crowds. There’s a nice creek that runs down one side of the campground. Sites are spacious and semi private I’d recommend sites 15-23 as they are right on the creek and a little less out in the open compared to other sites. Each site has a fire pit and a table. The bathrooms are vault toilets but kept clean. Would definitely recommend!
If you're looking for magnificent views of Mount Hood reflecting off of Trillium Lake, this is your spot!
We started off a little late and Trillium Lake Campground was full. Not a mile away sits Still Creek Campground. In fact, it connects to Trillium Lake Campground by back country roads. Be warned...massive pot holes!!
I was surprised that the campground had many spots open in the late afternoon and wonder if this is another one of Oregons best kept secrets!
The campsites are situated near each other, but with all the trees, makes it feel secluded. Each site has a picnic table and large fire ring and there are toilets available.
Spent one day as a quick overnight waiting out weather on Mt. Hood. Small campground with basic amenities. Sites are nicely spaced out and with all the trees you will have privacy no matter what site you choose. We didn't have a reservation and found a spot easily on the weekend in May. Be sure to check in with the camp host and pay the camping fee.
