Nichols Creek Dispersed — Rogue River NF

Along the South Fork of the Rogue River in the Rogue River National Forest, a tall-pine corridor shelters this spacious forest-road pullout beside Nichols Creek at roughly 4,000 feet elevation. The Lower South Fork Trailhead is just steps away, putting the South Fork Rogue River Trail within easy reach for day hikes through old-growth timber. Crowds are thin — even on late-spring weekends the area sees very little traffic.
